ECGs Wins 12th Annual Chuy's Catch and Release Tournament for 2008

Mark Daugherty of East Cape Guides and clients Grant Oepkes and Jeff Morse won the recent 12th Annual Chuy's Catch and Release Tournament out of East Cape's Hotel Buena Vista Beach Resort with 5 sailfish releases aboard the hotel fleet boat Dusty B. III. with Capt. Alejandro and first mate Francisco.

ECGs Summer/Fall 2008 Report

The Summer 2008 Season was a classic Baja Summer with a real variety of species. The tuna fishing was excellent on light tackle with some dorado in the mix. We also had a good showing of blue marlin to 500lbs. Duane Harding and Robert Chang of Calgary, Canada landed a estimated 350lb. blue marlin, two striped marlin and 12 tuna in a single day on the water. Not bad for newcomers to the East Cape. Also, a big thanks to Duane Harding for use of some of his beautiful photos.
